This project is designed to create positive tools for life when getting into recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. It will offer multiple options in regards to finding ways to step a day at a time into life, learning to stay present and introduce tools for life on a daily basis.
The purpose of this funding is to create innovative tool kits for whānau in their early days of recovery, to trial, experience, and learn to live without alcohol or drugs in their lives, and to give ideas on how to move forward a day at a time. This could be as simple as “New day, New beginnings” Daily diaries, Kawa Boards, Roster Charts, Karakia, Waiata and free/cheap fun activity ideas aligning with Te Whare Tapawha etc.
The hope is that these tool kits will provide whānau with options that may help them with their transition into recovery and into a sober healthier way of living.
